"There was a miscommunication on the sale- which we immediately identified" Quote from Peter Chabris
No Peter you didn't identify anything. The "miscommunication" was discovered by my wife- Not Team Chabris.
Below is the email where my wife brings up the issue.

Maybe you are there reading this and thinking that Peter can't be responsible if he didn't know that it was my wife who discovered the error. Below is the screenshot from when I forwarded the emails to Peter and he wrote back that he had received them. It definitely isn't a matter of a lack of knowledge of the situation it was a conscious decision to be untruthful.
I contact Peter Chabris about the action of Pamela Kurtz
No Peter you are lying. Team Chabris never took responsibility for anything. You actually did the exact opposite by denying that Pamela Kurtz ever did anything wrong. You also sent us an email from Pamela where she made it clear she considered everything out fault. Those will be posted later. But again I ask if you are considering a real estate agent to represent you do you really want one who can't even tell the truth?
No Peter you are lying. You knew that we had already spent the money on the home inspection and started the mortgage process before the option to walk away from the sale was discussed. You knew we had invested money into completing the sale and yet you claim there would have been no penalty. I can't really hold you responsible for what you didn't know at the time but we had already given notice and the house we were renting was not going to be available for us to continue living in. So there were significant penalties if we walked away from the sale- some of which you knew about when you wrote your response. Once again you decided that you didn't need to tell the truth.
Peter Chabris knew he was lying when he posted this response. Let's take a look at his lies individually.

This website is a reflection of my experience dealing with Peter Chabris, Pamela Kurtz and Team Chabris. By all accounts Keller Williams has good and honest agents who have no connection with Team Chabris and nothing in this website should make you less likely to use a different Keller Williams agent. There are no doubt people that have had positive experiences with these individuals. The information reported within this website is true and factual. Before this experience with Team Chabris I would never have believed that any person who holds themselves out as a professional would have the guts to lie on the internet. But Peter Chabris showed I had too much faith in humanity. He promptly lied in response to my realtor review of my experience on zillow.com.
As demonstrated above Peter Chabris choose to knowingly be untruthful 3 times in one review about a transaction. Do you want a real estate agent to whom the truth doesn't matter representing you? A fair question to ask before you sign up for his services?

"And took Responsibility for as soon as it was discovered" Quote from Peter Chabris
Peter Chabris lies when responding to an online review
Peter Chabris' Lie #3
How is it possible that Peter Chabris claims that Team Chabris "identified" anything when it is clear that my wife identified it? There aren't too many possibilities. 1) He made a mistake - that isn't it. When he was before the Ohio Board of Real Estate neither he nor his attorney admitted he shouldn't have used the word "identified" 2) He doesn't understand how to use an active verb. "We immediately identified" are the words that Peter Chabris used. Since the verb "identified" is active in his sentence it means the action was performed by the subject-in this case "We" (meaning Team Chabris). Peter enjoys talking about his education so it seems unlikely he doesn't understand the meaning of what he wrote (But maybe I am giving him too much credit). This isn't a matter of semantics- it is basic grammar. 3) Peter Chabris intentionally claimed that Team Chabris discovered the problem in an effort to make themselves look like a company that is so concerned for their clients that they actively find their mistakes and work to correct them. 4) Maybe something else I am missing.
Regardless of what his motivations for telling this lie are the bottom line is that he lied. He also lied in a way to make Team Chabris be seen in a positive light. The bigger question is If he will lie about his actions publicly is he someone you would trust to tell you the truth privately?
If you doubt anything on this website just ask Peter Chabris when Team Chabris identified a miscommunication. If he tells you that they identified anything you can see from the email above that he is still lying.
